One response to “Ask the Experts (Live Q&A) Dr. Norm Shealy – Holistic Pain Management”
I have had 5 different lower spine surgeries in the past 5 years and am fused solid from L2-S1 plus I have 2 long bolts secured from the top of my SI Joints to the fusion rods for stability. The surgeries appear to be successful based on MRIs and CT-Scans, but I still can’t stand or walk more than about 5 minutes without extreme pain kicking in. There was some nerve damage on the left side from one of the surgeries so I have to walk with a quad cane, as my left side balance is off. Can you suggest soemthing other than more surgery to alleviate the pain and allow me to walk and stand longer?
