Hi, I am 47 years old now, a year ago I was diagnosed with breast cancer, did left breast Mastectomy; 4 chemo, now I am on injection once every 3 month + anastrozole pills daily; my oncologist said I will stop the injection once my period natural stop; I would take the pills daily for 5 years possibly 10 years.

I really do not like the idea of using pills to control my hormones, I feel something wrong but I do mot have a solution… with this treatment I left with side effect of joints pain/stiffness, oncologists ask me to see my primary doctor to subscribe medication to treat join pain/stiffness… my instinct tell me this is the wrong direction of treatment, can Dr. Sands explain what kind of treatment you would suggest

    Thank you so much

  2. Is it true that bioidentical hormones can cause breast cancer if you have a snp that does not allow you to detox/metabolize them?
If breast cancer is driven by exogenous hormones, is it important to avoid dairy in all forms forever?

  3. I have MS so had many MRI’s w/contrast (20-25) over 10 years so is it possible that the contrast agents are part of my entering early menopause with ovarian failure. If so, will time spent in a FIR Sauna assist in detoxing it?

  6. Had lumpectomy May of 2020 at age 67 (Note: premature ovarian failure age 35 treated with at least 15 years of HRT). Path report revealed non-invasive, encapsulated DCIS with clear margins, Nuclear grade II, Estrogen receptor Positive 99% with 3+ intensity and Progesterone receptor Positive 80% with 3+ intensity. After much research declined radiation and Tamoxifen treatment. Surgeon recommended avoid any foods with hormones. Changed to mostly organic vegetarian diet and supplements recommended by my nutritionist. Is there anything else I can do to decrease risk of recurrence?

  7. What functional lab tests would one do to check harmonies?

I went into menopause at 50 and 56 now no hot flashes nor symptoms. One doctor suggested I start in bio-identical hormone, but I wasn’t sure about being on hormones forever. Any suggestions on more natural solutions?

Could age spots/ liver spots be caused by hormone?

  8. I took HRT for menopausal symptoms for about 4 years. Is there irreversible damage?

I used a natural bioidentical hormone cream vaginally for 14 years and upon Er-Pr +, Her2- diagnosis of breast cancer in 2020 I discovered that the cream contains SOY POWDER from China and upon checking the ingredients in the soy, there were multiple toxic chemicals but no mention of glyphosate but I’m sure it contained it. What do you think about this? Should I have the cream analyzed at another lab, just to reveal the truth??

Hi. I’ve been treated for breast cancer. I stoped the Aromatase Inhibitors after 8 months because I felt terrible. I’m still estrogen dominant. Is it safe to use Bioidentical hormones after having breast cancer? My last ultrasound showed debris in the ducts under my left nipple. I had been using Bioidentical hormones but stopped with the ultrasounds results. I”m not waiting to have a mammogram. So I’ve stopped the hormones until I know what’s going on. Shall I go back to using the Bioidentical hormones if the coast is clear? In other words, the debris is not caused by hormonal changes – though how would one know. Recommendations? Thank you.

  11. Hi,
I have hyperthyroidism and my endocrinologist advised not to take iodine supplements. I also have breast CA and learned from the conquering cancer masterclass that iodine is needed by the breast tissues to function properly and deficiency of which will lead to breast CA. My TSH T3 and T4 are within normal levels lately. Is it safe for me to have iodine supplementation or consume iodine rich foods now? If so, how much on a daily basis?
    Thank you very much.

    Hello!
I have a big nodule in the left side of my thyroid. My doctor wants to biopsy it and then take it out. But other than not being sexy, it is not causing me any trouble.
What can you suggest to shrink it as it is hormone related. Thank you!
